What We Believe

One God-Triune Being
In God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Is. 48:16; Matt. 28:19; and Luke 3:22)

The Scriptures Inspired
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16-17; Heb. 4:12)

The Deity of Jesus
Jesus is the eternal Son of God and as such shares in the Divinity and Deity of God. (Heb. 1:1-13; John 5:22,23)

Original Sin and the Fall of Man
Man was created in God’s image. By voluntary transgression he fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Gen. 1:26-31; Rom. 5:12,21)

Salvation of Man
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin (II Corinthians 5:21) and took sickness (I Peter 2:24), providing both salvation and healing for all mankind (Ps 103:3). This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and by confession with your mouth, Jesus as Lord (Rom. 3:24; 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8; James 1:21; Acts 4:12).

Water Baptism
Baptism in water is for those who have believed in Christ as savior and Lord. It is then the declaration to the world that they identify with Christ in His death and have been raised with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4).

The Lord’s Supper or Communion
The celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is a remembrance of His suffering and death
(I Cor. 11:24-25), and a prophecy of His second coming (I Cor. 11:26) and is enjoyed by all believers until He comes.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts or enablements of the Holy Spirit and their uses in the ministry of the Body of Christ (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; I Cor. 12:1-31). This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth
(Acts 8:2-17; 10:44-46; 11:14,15; 15:7-9).

The Church is the Body of Christ
Each believer is an integral part
(Eph. 1:22; 2:19-22: Heb. 12:23).

Total Prosperity
Jesus came that we would have life and that we would have it more abundantly (John 10:10). In relation to God’s order of priority, we need to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matt. 6:33).

  • Spiritual
    (John 3:3,11; II Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 10:9-10)
  • Mental
    (II Tim. 1:7; Rom. 12:2; Isaiah 26:3)
  • Financial
    (III Jn 1:2; Mal. 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-10; Deut. 28:1-4)
  • Social
    (Proverbs 3:4)

The Second Coming
The Blessed hope is of Jesus coming again to gather all His saints to heaven (I Corinthians. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:16-17; II Thess. 2:1).

Eternal Existence in Heaven or Hell
Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. They will burn in the lake of fire (Rev. 9:20; 20:10-15).
